Saving on trips to the Chiropractor = ?

Happy Child & Happy Parent = PRICELESS!

As the mother of two small children, I can say with certainty that the Go-Go Kidz Travelmate by Go-Go Babyz is, by far, one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It took one horrible trip of slinging the carseat on my back like an idiot to realize there must be a better way. I give you the Go-Go Kidz Travelmate by Go-Go Babyz. People constantly stop me in the airport asking about it. Without the Go-Go Kidz Travelmate, solo travel with two kids, two full-size carseats and a backpack,  would be a major pain in the tuckus and, most likely, not possible.

Lightweight and Easy to Use

The GoGo Kidz Travelmate is lightweight (only five pounds) and simple to use. Once you remove the seat from your car, you simply insert one piece where the seatbelt would go and attach with the large bolts. Done. The only negative is that the child cannot be in the seat while you are attaching the wheels as you must tip the seat over.

Keeps Child Safe and Contained

Easy peasy! Your child will love it. Your back and sanity will thank you. Not to mention you’ll get nods of approval from other travelers instead of the dreaded, “I thank my lucky stars that I’m not that schmuck traveling with every bit of baby paraphernalia known to man.”

Getting through Security

I will warn you that the carseat won’t fit into all security x-ray machines with the wheels attached. If there’s another adult with you, simply remove and place the items through the x-ray machine. If not, just request that the carseats be wanded by hand. I should also mention, that if you are traveling alone with small children, that some airlines will issue a security pass to a non-passenger to help you through the security check point.

Note:  If you are traveling with a child under two years old and haven’t purchased a seat, bring the carseat to the gate. If there’s an empty seat available, most times you will be allowed to bring the carseat on board. This will make your life and your child’s trip so much easier. Your child is safe, comfortable and familiar with his carseat. And, it frees up your hands.

If you don’t bring the carseat on the plane, I highly suggest you bring a carry bag (or large garbage bag) with you and gate check it before boarding. This way the carseat is less likely to get damaged while being tossed around with all the luggage.

This is definitely something I could have used, when I used to travel with my young kids. After my last trip across the Atlantic I decided that I would not fly with my kids alone anymore:)
