There are only three Playmobil FunParks in the entire country and one is located right here in Palm Beach Gardens. Boy, did our kids get lucky or what?
My kids love going to Playmobil and I love it too. Admission is super cheap, it’s air conditioned, really clean now (someone mentioned recent changes in management) and great for imaginary play. You can bring in your own food, snacks and drinks, purchase items from the vending machines, or even have a pizza delivered to eat in the food area.

The kids love that they can touch and play with EVERYTHING!!!! Moms like the open-room concept and knowing there’s only one exit door.
It’s a great outing for those rainy days or just when the weather is so hot you can’t stand to be outside.
The only downfall is that you have to exit the indoor play area through the Playmobil Store. I’m guessing the same marketing genius that suggested putting candy in grocery store checkout lanes designed the exit layout. Due to the affordability factor, I can always say we’ll return soon.

Tired of chasing your little escape artists all over parks and playgrounds? Or, having one of those days when you swear your child is attached via super glue? If so, grab socks for everyone (adults and kids) and pop over to A Latte Fun in Palm Beach Gardens. You will not be disappointed.
A Latte Fun is an indoor play space designed for children six months to six years old. If your child is over two years, toss the little bugger in the supervised playroom and sit in the café for a well-deserved break. Order a coffee, sit back, relax and kick your shoes off. By all means, enjoy an adult conversation, free WIFI, a book, newspaper or magazine. If you are really lucky, you can even quickly sneak into the restroom and pee alone. (Shhh! Don’t tell anyone.)
You get the best bang for your buck during Friday afternoon Happy Hour. Drop in between 3-4pm on Fridays and admission costs only $5 per child!
Leave it to Leigh Kendall, a local mother of four children, to come up with such an ingenious idea. I warned her if she hired a cute cabana boy who served frozen drinks I was pitching a tent in the parking lot and moving in.
Disclaimer: Cheap Florida Mom is not responsible for children complaining/crying upon exiting.
